Candlewood Suites Harlingen by IHG

We didn't have breakfast so I don't know what that was like. It was a little confusing to get to the location the first time because our GPS told us to turn from Ed Carey onto Sesame Street (that name should have been a clue! Hee hee). We couldn't get to the hotel that way because there was a fence across the back. I'm guessing that Sesame Street went through to the access road before the hotel was built and the fence was put there. It would have been nice to be able to get to Sonic without having to drive a long way around.

Very easy to find, and to get around the building, easy access to the gym, and the washer and dryer facility.

Quick and easy check in. No issues with access. Room request instructions were followed to be away from elevators.

The staff was very friendly and easy to talk to. Helped with the one issue of another guest smoking Marijuana in the building. I really enjoyed that we got to borrow board games while we were relaxing.

The one bed room suite. Wow. Very nice, spacious and very big bed.! Free laundry room. Very big gym and acceptable pool. They have appliances you can’t bowrrow. Blenders and what not, heck even board games.
